01 / THE APPROACH

A career that
sounds like you.

You don't need to fit a formula. You need a direction that fits you.

Maybe you've got songs ready to release but no clear plan. Maybe you're already playing shows and want to build something more sustainable. Or maybe your band has the ambition, but needs everyone pulling in the same direction.

Unsigned Development starts with where you are. Together, we'll identify what matters most, work around your time and resources, and turn your ambitions into practical next steps.

Guidance from someone who's still writing, releasing and stepping onto the stage.

With 20 years in the music industry, STE Stetson brings experience across songwriting, production and live performance. His work with artists around the world spans millions of streams, thousands of songs written and hundreds of songs played on national and international radio.

He's performed at some of the UK's biggest festivals and played a small number of arena shows. And he's still out there performing live today — bringing a working artist's perspective to the challenges you're facing now.

Unsigned Development brings that experience into a personal, practical partnership: someone to challenge your thinking, help you focus and support your next steps.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Is this for solo artists or bands?

Both. We can focus on your individual direction or work through a band's shared goals, creative priorities and practical challenges. The scope is agreed around your needs.

Do I need to make a particular style of music?

No. Rock, pop, country, indie, soul and beyond — your genre helps shape the approach. The aim is to develop your own identity and career, not change your sound to fit a mould.

What if I have a job or limited time?

Your availability is part of the initial conversation. We'll prioritise the work and build realistic actions around your commitments, rather than assume you can treat music as a full-time job.

How often will we meet?

The session schedule and support format are agreed as part of your individual programme before you commit. This keeps the work appropriate to your goals, availability and agreed scope.

Does this guarantee radio play, streams or bookings?

No. This is development, training and guidance. It helps you improve your approach and prepare for opportunities, but radio play, audience growth, bookings and income can't be guaranteed.

What happens after the 12 weeks?

You'll review your progress and next priorities. You can take your plan forward independently, or discuss continued one-to-one support on a rolling monthly basis at £199 per month.
